NASA 28 milyong mag-aaral ang inaasahang mag-e-enroll sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa elementarya at hayskul ngayong darating na school year.

“We expect that this coming 2023-2024, we are welcoming 28 million learners who will troop to more than 47,000 schools nationwide,” wika ni DepEd Undersecretary for Operations Revsee Escobedo

Sa command conference na ginanap sa DepEd Headquarters sa Pasig City, sinabi Escobedo na magiging “kritikal” ang pagbubukas ngayong school year sa learning outcome ng mga estudyante sa buong bansa.

“This year, we acknowledge that we will face a lot of challenges on top of the perennial problems that we have, but rest assured that the DepEd is relentless in its efforts to address these challenges. But we will need a whole-of-nation approach to successfully do this,” ani Escobedo.

Ayon kay Escobedo, dapat magkaroon ng access sa pinakapangunahing pangangailangan ang bawat estudyante.

Kabilang dito ang komunikasyon, pasilidad, transportasyon, at kapayapaan at kaayusan.

“That is why we are reaching out to our partners, and your support is very much welcome,” anang Undersecretary.
