MARCOS: GOV’T TO EXHAUST ALL EFFORTS TO EDUCATE YOUTH
PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. pledged that government will stop at nothing to provide the youth education.
PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. pledged that government will stop at nothing to provide the youth education.
“We continue to exhaust all efforts to keep our young people away from the sinister influences in the dark corners of society,” the President said in his second State of the Nation Address on Monday.
“We are making available to them their participation in formal schooling, alternative learning, non-diploma courses, or in technical-vocational education and training,” Marcos added.
He said technical and vocational education and training can empower Filipinos.
“Since last year, more than a million Filipinos graduated from TVET, one-third of whom were TESDA scholars,” the President said.
“There are many examples of how its graduates have gone on to secure competitive technical jobs,” he added.
