A STUDENT from the University of the East was one of the finalists in the search for Outstanding Student Leaders of the Philippines in 2022.
Winsleth Dizon, a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy student, was selected out of hundreds of applicants nationwide.
Organized by the Transforming Advocates and Champions, Inc., the search recognizes graduating college students who are active in advancing advocacies and projects for their schools and communities.
It also seeks to inspire the youth to contribute to nation-building through excellent academic achievement, transformative social engagement and innovative leadership services to their institution, local communities, and the nation.
“Dizon, who is the incumbent College Student Y Council Vice President for Internal Affairs, UE Manila College Y Club President, and Hiyas ng Silangan Honors’ Society Vice Grand Lady Chancellor, was honored as a finalist for her outstanding academic credentials as well as her on-campus and community-related endeavors,” UE said.
“The finalists underwent a two-day reformation and character-rebuilding program that helped the finalists rebuild and refocus their understanding of practical and action-oriented leadership,” it added.
