HOLY ANGEL U LAUNCHES READING ENHANCEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
THE HOLY Angel University in Pampanga launched its Reading Enhancement and Development Project at the Sapang Bato Elementary School to help students expand their reading skills.
The school said that it kicked off the program to help pupils with difficulties in reading and extend capacity-building assistance to teachers to help them handle their students.
The session was facilitated by Lorna Tyson, the university’s identity and character formation officer.
Tyson zeroed in on values formation as a key element such as cultivating a positive attitude towards learning among pupils and the importance of family support in the implementation of the project and in the children’s reading progress.
The HAU READ Project is headed by the School of Arts and Sciences and the Office of the Community Extension Services.
The reading program for this Academic Year started last December 2022 and will end in May 2023.
