ESTABLISHMENT OF SLSU CALAUAG CAMPUS GAINS GROUND
SEVERAL government officials backed the establishment of a Southern Luzon State University satellite campus in Calauag, Quezon province.
The local government of Calauag and Quezon Governor Angelina Tan will commit P2.3 million and P30 million for the project, respectively.
SLSU officials met with representatives of Calauag LGU to discuss the project.
The two camps appointed a director and talked about courses that will be offered in the campus.
SLSU said that the new campus aims to help more Calauag residents to get a college degree.
Detailed planning and discussion on other requirements for the establishment of the campus are set for later this month.
