MINDANAO STATE U TO HOLD F2F CLASSES

/ 28 June 2022

ALL campuses of the Mindanao State University will start holding face-to-face classes on the first semester of Academic Year 2022-2023.

The university was allowed to resume physical classes in accordance with Resolution No. 145, S. 2022 upon the recommendation of the President of the University and the Executive Committee of the Board of Regents.

“Since the outbreak of the Covid19 pandemic, schools have announced the suspension of face-to-face classes along with a shift to distance learning,” the school said.

“The Covid19 pandemic has put a halt to some of the greatest attractions of the university experience such as in-person classes, intramurals, crowded hallways, and long walks inside the campus,” it added.

The university said that the conduct of in-person classes will be subject to certain guidelines.

Commission on Higher Education Chairman Prospero De Vera III earlier said that flexible learning setup will be retained in the upcoming school opening for tertiary education.

De Vera said the commission expects an increase in the number of universities holding F2F learning options from August to September as pandemic restrictions continue to ease.
