DTI PARTNERS WITH QSU TO ASSIST MSMEs
THE DEPARTMENT of Trade and Industry and the Quirino State University partnered to help in the digitalization of micro, small and medium enterprises.
Project BRIDGED: BRIDging the Gaps in the Era of Digitalization will help businesses and the local government units integrate their business online as it focuses on e-commerce, investment and technology.
“E-commerce shall focus on the development of an online platform where MSMEs can promote and sell their products; Investment component shall concentrate on the development of a website for the LGUs where potential local and foreign investors can access investment-related information,” DTI Quirino said in its Facebook page.
It added that the technology component “shall circle mainly on the capacitation of MSMEs on the various technological developments such as [the] shift to cashless payments and use of various graphic designing applications.”
DTI-Quirino and QSU signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the project last week.
It was attended by QSU President Dr. Elizabeth Carig, other executives and DTI R2 Quirino OIC Provincial Director Mary Ann Corpuz-Dy.
