STRENGTHENING the relationship of parents and teachers and good reception to initiatives made the implementation of the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan successful at the Buenavista Elementary School.

School Principal Rowan Celestra said parents warmly welcomed the  E-Nay.com Project which was launched to train parents as partners in the education of their children at home.

“It’s important that we teachers and administrators in DepEd empower our parents especially during this challenging time. We need to continue education, we need to educate our children even at home,” Celestra said.

“If our Nanay, Tatay and guardians are capacitated and empowered, they can be our voice to explain, arms to demonstrate, eyes to observe and monitor progress, and even our heart to guide, assist, nurture and deliver education to their own children at home. Education will continue because we empower the parents and the whole community,” the school principal added.
