THE PROVINCIAL government of Pangasinan denied allegations that it asked schools to return the tablets and other gadgets given them.

“Ang lahat ng educational materials… na ibinigay ng ating provincial government sa lahat ng DepEd Schools Divisions Office dito sa ating lalawigan ay pagmamay-ari na ng mga nasabing DepEd Schools Division Offices o/at ng mga eskwelahang kanilang napiling paglagyan,” Provincial Administrator Nimrod Camba said.

“Hindi po kailanman babawiin ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ang mga ito, bagkus ay pagsisikapang madagdagan pa, para lalong maitaguyod at maisulong ang kapakanan at katayuan ng lahat na mag-aaral na Pangasinense,” he added.

The SDOs were issued gadgets, speech laboratories and modules.

The denial was issued following reports that schools have been told to return the gadgets.
