WITH the National Capital Region under Alert Level 1, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines has lifted its memorandum providing students academic ease.

The school said that quizzes, recitations, midterm and final examinations and thesis defense will resume for students under online mode of learning.

In addition, failing marks of 5.0 and withdrawn may now be given to students who fail to meet the course requirement in all modes of delivery.

Faculty members, however, shall ensure that deadlines of submission of requirements are reasonable and in line with the alert levels and restrictions issued by the authorities.

Students under the correspondence mode shall submit all the requirements on the schedule specified in the Instructional Materials.

The new policy will take effect on the second semester of Academic Year 2021-2022.
