IFUGAO STATE U WARNS STUDENTS VS RENT SCAMS
THE IFUGAO State University warned its students against scammers as face-to-face classes resumed in the university.
IFSU said that the students should be wary of offers especially those who are looking for boarding houses.
“Some fraudulent individuals pose as house owners in the municipalities of Ifugao. They prey on students in the province by offering houses for rent at a cheap rate,” IFSU said.
“Let us all be vigilant in dealing with offers like these through social media. Please report such acts to proper authorities if ever encountered,” it added.
Nursing students of IFSU were the first to return to their classrooms this month after the university was allowed to conduct in-person learning.
IFSU’s campuses have received safety seals from the Department of the Interior and Local Government, proof that these complied with safety requirements.
