APAYAO STATE COLLEGE ALLOWED TO HOLD FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES
THE APAYAO State College will hold limited face-to-face classes for several of its courses after it secured a clearance from the local government and other agencies.
Mayor Martina Dangoy of the municipality of Conner issued a certificate of authority to the college after it met the basic requirements, qualifications and standards set by the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Health.
However, the LGU warned that the permit is subject to revocation.
It is also “not transferable and shall remain valid unless canceled, suspended or revoked by the undersigned or higher authority.”
The courses that will be allowed to hold in-person learning are civil engineering, information technology, industrial technology, hospital management and agriculture.
CHED said that schools opting to hold F2F classes must have a high vaccination rate, approval from the concerned local government unit, and retrofitted classrooms.
