WESTERN VISAYAS STATE U TO SPEED UP VACCINATION DRIVE
THE WESTERN Visayas State University will ramp up its vaccination drive in preparation for the holding of limited face-to-face classes.
WVSU President Joselito Villaruiz encouraged university officials to disseminate information about the university’s vaccination campaign.
“With the CHED approval relative to the limited face-to-face conduct of classes, we would like to encourage all concerned to intensify WVSU’s vaccination rollout across all campuses,” Villaruiz said in a memorandum.
“All concerned are advised to avail of the vaccination programs of our government. This is to ensure the safety and protection of all with regards to the Covid-19 Pandemic,” he added.
The university in June announced that it has secured the approval of the Commission on Higher Education for the conduct of limited face-to-face classes for Allied Health courses.
Two weeks ago, it vaccinated 200 students.
