The SBU-CAS Freshmen Orientation Day is a whole-day event devoted to welcoming and facilitating incoming Bedans’ transition into college. It is a big tradition in San Beda University. Despite the online arrangement, activities are designed to acquaint students with school policies and campus services while also offering opportunities for them to meet other students. With the theme ‘Welcome to the Pride,’ Bedan Freshmen are introduced to decades of Bedan excellence and their contributions to society while being challenged to carry on the legacy.

The San Beda Junior Marketing Association (SBJMA) will hold the yearly Freshmen Orientation Day (FOD) together with the Student Council of SBU-CAS. This year the Marketing FOD will be entitled MARKETISTA, START YOUR QUEST on September 3, 2021, via Zoom. In this event, the whole Department of Marketing Management (DMM) will witness the transition of the organization structure because SBJMA now has a set of Board of Directors for this academic year and the said FOD are sponsored by Hansel Premium, Rebisco, Twinings Ph and Levi’s. The event will showcase the love, commitment, passion, and hard work of every student leader/officer of SBJMA. It will promote and encourage students to engage and be part of the organization that will shape them into becoming a responsible marketing professional. The FOD gives opportunities for all professional student organizations to introduce their programs to the freshmen and to showcase the opportunities they have in store for them. Each professional organization organizes a short program with exciting games to actively engage with the students. SBJMA however will orient and inspire all Bedan Marketers, of their bright future and exciting journey in the DMM program. We are expecting at least 90+ attendees from the DMM and this will be an online event broadcasted live via SBJMA Facebook page.
