DEPED, PANGASINAN STATE U DISCUSS CAREER GROWTH PROGRAM FOR TEACHERS
THE PANGASINAN State University and the Department of Education Regional Office 1 discussed the possible partnership for the establishment of a professional career-building program for teachers and school officials.
The DepEd encouraged the university to apply as an Authorized Learning Service Provider under the DepEd-NEAP Professional Development Framework.
The National Educators’ Academy of the Philippines is an attached agency of the Education department tasked to advance the professional development of school officials.
“In effect, A DepEd-NEAP Authorized Learning Service Provider shall design a professional development program/course/training for teachers or school leaders aimed at upscaling their competencies and enabling quality professional growth,” PSU said on Facebook.
To join the program, applicants must hold a permanent position, have no pending administrative, civil or criminal cases and have not been found guilty of any violations.
Applicants who will finish the program will be rewarded with certificates with Professional Development credit units.
