ADAMSON U PALPAK SA UNANG ARAW NG ONLINE CLASSES

UPDATE: ADAMSON VOWS TO IMPROVE ONLINE SERVICE AS TECHNICAL GLITCHES MAR OPENING DAY OF CLASSES

/ 24 August 2020

NO online distance education program is perfect.

Adamson University stressed such point after encountering technical glitches right on opening day of classes.

William Bill Turnbull Jr., director of ADU Center for Innovative Learning, asked for the understanding of the studentry since everyone is new to flexible learning under the Covid19 pandemic.

“Everybody is in a state of shock caused by the pandemic, forcing academic institutions to rapidly shift from the traditional type of education,” said Turnbull in a Facebook post.

“Our university allotted tremendous effort and resources, and I can say with conviction that our Flexible Learning Program will surely deliver quality education.”

He admitted there were already technical glitches even hours before the opening of classes.

But the school official apologized to students who had been affected by the glitches.

“We humbly apologize to all our students who have been affected by the technical glitch,” said Turnbull.

He also assured the Adamson will do its best to give quality education to its students.

“Please be assured that our office will do its utmost best to respond to all those who experienced difficulties with the flexible learning and the platform that we are using,” added Turnbull.

Adamson is known for its motto ‘school for the poor’, ensuring that students will have access to education despite their status in life.

“We are experiencing a technical problem in the Blackboard Learn. Rest assured that we are working on it and the site will be up shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience,” pahayag ng unibersidad sa isang post.
