NINE employees of the Department of Education office in Zambales province tested positive for Covid19 after attending a seminar.

Provincial Health Director Noel Bueno said that among those who contracted the virus were division officials and a principal.

He said that 300 DepEd employees in the province were tested for the virus after the holding of two seminars in Iba town.

All employees who were exposed to their infected colleagues were asked to go on home quarantine.

The resort where the meeting was held was also closed for disinfection.

The latest Covid19 tally showed that the province had 990 confirmed cases.
