BMBHTE FINDS PARTNERS IN SCP, EPPM TO IMPROVE BARMM EDUCATION
THE BANGSAMORO Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education partnered with Save the Children Philippines and Education Pathways for Peace in Mindanao in a workshop to help improve education in the region.
The partnership was geared towards creating safe spaces for learners in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and helping teachers with their professional development.
“One of the components of the projects is capacitating K-3 teachers and ‘asatidz’ in developing and delivering alternative learning materials,” BMBHTE said on Facebook.
“The teacher training intervention will be conducted through Training-Workshop and Learning Action Cell sessions (face-to-face and online). This will cover topics on ELLN focusing on the Oral Language Development Marungko Approach as well as numeracy which are foundational competencies needed by learners of all ages,” it added.
The workshop was held from March 10 to 12 in Cotabato City.
A total of 15 personnel from the MBHTE Regional Office and Divisions attended the workshop.
