FOUR students of Centro Escolar University School finished the Institute of Innovative Global Education Kansai University Engaged/Exchange Online Learning Program for a two-month period last year.

Alondra Sto. Domingo, Gio Angelo Escanillas, Precious Joyce Agatha Drilon and Margarette Riva Meneses, all from the Liberal Arts Music and Social Work, received the Certificate of Excellence for completing the program from Oct. 1 to Dec. 14 of 2020 with full attendance and good performance.

Sto. Domingo enrolled in Critical Thinking for Social and Global Issues and in Research Methods for Social Sciences.

Escancillas and Drillon meanwhile took the Methods of Comparative Analysis in English and Japanese Communication, while Meneses completed the Japan International Affairs course.

Kansai University aims to provide international opportunities for students whose educational experience has been impacted by the Covid19 pandemic.

Through the IIGE KU-EOL program, students of its partner universities can take a group of courses that they have intentionally maintained as online courses in English.

A total of 100 students from 17 universities in 11 countries applied for the program.
