UP DILIMAN ROTC COLLECTS DONATION FOR ‘ULYSSES’ VICTIMS
THE RESERVE Officers’ Training Corps of the University of the Philippines-Diliman organized a donation drive for the staff of the Public Safety and Security Office and Campus Maintenance Office of UP Diliman who were affected by Typhoon Ulysses.
Through Tabang Ta!, the group collected boxes of clothing, beddings, food, and water to make 18 relief packages.
On December 1, two Cadet Officers — CCpt Mary Angeline G Povito 1Cl (College of Arts and Letters), and CCpt Ces Archae Buenavista 1Cl (School of Library and Information Studies) — turned over the relief packages to the CMO and UPD Police Office.
Earlier, the UPD ROTC also oganized a cash donation drive for those affected by Super Typhoon Rolly in Polangui, Albay.
The group was able to collect P91,000.00 which was used to make 400 food packs.
Tabang Ta! is the relief operations campaign of UP ROTC. It was supported by the UP Vanguard Inc., Philippine Coast Guard Auxilliary–Executive Squadron, and several private donors.
